*568-217 URETHANE 90 ORINGS -PR GRADE

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-217 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 90 Shore A with an inside diameter of 1.171 in (29.74 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.449 in (36.8 mm), catalogued under part number U90217. It creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Polyurethane (AU/EU) is widely chosen for long wear life in dynamic reciprocating service and toughness that outperforms conventional rubber compounds. The compound resists ozone, impact and shock loading, and abrasion and wear. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C). Applications involving prolonged humidity at elevated temperature or hot water and steam call for a different compound.
