This o-ring is supplied in AS568-222 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 90 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 1.484 in (37.69 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.762 in (44.75 mm), catalogued under part number U90222. It provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

As a material, Polyurethane (AU/EU) is specified for long wear life in dynamic reciprocating service and outstanding extrusion resistance at elevated pressure. It resists petroleum oils, abrasion and wear, and impact and shock loading. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C). Applications involving acids and bases or prolonged humidity at elevated temperature call for a different compound.
