Part number U90231 is an AS568-231 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 90 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 2.609 in (66.27 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.887 in (73.33 mm). An o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

This material stands up to impact and shock loading, ozone, and petroleum oils. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Polyurethane (AU/EU) delivers exceptional abrasion resistance and toughness that outperforms conventional rubber compounds. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C). It should not be specified for service in hot water and steam or prolonged humidity at elevated temperature.
