APG stocks the U90240, an AS568-240 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 90 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 3.734 in (94.84 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.012 in (101.9 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

The material holds up against extrusion under high pressure, petroleum oils, and ozone. Polyurethane (AU/EU) is valued for toughness that outperforms conventional rubber compounds, very high tensile strength and load capacity. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 200°F (93.3°C). It should not be specified for service in prolonged humidity at elevated temperature or hot water and steam.
