*568-425 URETHANE 90 ORINGS -PREM GRADE

Part number U90425 is an AS568-425 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 4.475 in (113.67 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.025 in (127.64 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, Polyurethane (AU/EU) offers outstanding extrusion resistance at elevated pressure and long wear life in dynamic reciprocating service. It resists impact and shock loading, abrasion and wear, and petroleum oils. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C). Applications involving ketones or acids and bases call for a different compound.

It sees regular use in off-highway equipment, hydraulic cylinders, and mining and heavy equipment.
