8-025 BLACK FKM 90D BACK-UP RING

The VBU90025 is an AS568-025 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A Back-Up Ring built to an inside diameter of 1.176 in (29.87 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.316 in (33.43 mm). This back-up ring extends o-ring service life by supporting the seal against extrusion under high pressure.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is valued for the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. Expect good resistance to many acids, aggressive chemicals, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C).
