APG stocks the VBU90122, an AS568-122 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A Back-Up Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.112 in (28.24 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.318 in (33.48 mm). A back-up ring allows a standard o-ring to operate at higher pressures than it could unsupported.

It resists aromatic hydrocarbons, aggressive chemicals, and engine and transmission fluids.
