8-231 BLACK FKM 90D BACK-UP RING

This back-up ring is supplied in AS568-231 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 2.609 in (66.27 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.887 in (73.33 mm), catalogued under part number VBU90231. It extends o-ring service life by supporting the seal against extrusion under high pressure.

The compound resists engine and transmission fluids, chlorinated solvents, and petroleum oils and fuels.
