8-337 BLACK FKM 90D BACK-UP RING

Part number VBU90337 is an AS568-337 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A Back-Up Ring built to an inside diameter of 2.975 in (75.57 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.395 in (86.23 mm). A back-up ring extends o-ring service life by supporting the seal against extrusion under high pressure.

Viton® (FKM) is valued for very low compression set at elevated temperature and outstanding high-temperature capability. The material holds up against chlorinated solvents, aromatic hydrocarbons, and aggressive chemicals. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Exposure to low-molecular-weight organic acids or amines will shorten service life.
