8-341 BLACK FKM 90D BACK-UP RING

VBU90341 is an AS568-341 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A Back-Up Ring with an inside diameter of 3.475 in (88.27 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.895 in (98.93 mm). In service, this back-up ring extends o-ring service life by supporting the seal against extrusion under high pressure.

Viton® (FKM) is known for the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and very low compression set at elevated temperature. This material stands up to aggressive chemicals, engine and transmission fluids, and aromatic hydrocarbons. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to amines or low-molecular-weight organic acids will shorten service life.
