8-360 BLACK FKM 90D BACK-UP RING

Ordered as VBU90360, this is an AS568-360 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A Back-Up Ring with an inside diameter of 5.85 in (148.59 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.27 in (159.26 mm). The back-up ring extends o-ring service life by supporting the seal against extrusion under high pressure.

The material holds up against petroleum oils and fuels, aggressive chemicals, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Viton® (FKM) is specified for very low compression set at elevated temperature and outstanding high-temperature capability. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).
