8-443 BLACK FKM 90D BACK-UP RING

The VBU90443 is an AS568-443 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A Back-Up Ring built to an inside diameter of 7.475 in (189.87 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.025 in (203.84 mm). This back-up ring bridges the extrusion gap so the primary seal holds its shape under load.

The compound resists aggressive chemicals, aromatic hydrocarbons, and many acids. Viton® (FKM) delivers the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where hot water and steam or amines are present.
