Ordered as SB-V70212-25, this is an AS568-212 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.859 in (21.82 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.137 in (28.88 mm). Expect good resistance to aromatic hydrocarbons, engine and transmission fluids, and aggressive chemicals. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is known for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, very low compression set at elevated temperature. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where amines or hot water and steam are present.
