The SB-V70215-25 is an AS568-215 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.046 in (26.57 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.324 in (33.63 mm). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint. The catalog record notes: 1.3125IDX1.0625"ODX.125"CS.

This material stands up to aggressive chemicals, engine and transmission fluids, and petroleum oils and fuels. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where low-molecular-weight organic acids or hot water and steam are present.
