The SB-V70027-50 is an AS568-027 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 1.301 in (33.05 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.441 in (36.6 mm). This material stands up to aggressive chemicals, many acids, and petroleum oils and fuels. Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, very low compression set at elevated temperature. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving hot water and steam or amines call for a different compound.
