The SB-V70046-10 is an AS568-046 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 4.239 in (107.67 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.379 in (111.23 mm). Viton® (FKM) is specified for the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. The compound resists petroleum oils and fuels, aromatic hydrocarbons, and engine and transmission fluids. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where hot water and steam or low-molecular-weight organic acids are present.

It sees regular use in aerospace, chemical processing, and high-temperature process equipment.
