SB-V70047-10 is an AS568-047 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 4.489 in (114.02 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.629 in (117.58 mm). This material stands up to petroleum oils and fuels, engine and transmission fluids, and chlorinated solvents. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is specified for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, very low compression set at elevated temperature. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to low-molecular-weight organic acids or amines will shorten service life.
