SB-V70146-10 is an AS568-146 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 2.612 in (66.34 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.818 in (71.58 mm). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies. This item is further identified as 0.103CSX2.612"IDX2.818"OD.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is valued for very low compression set at elevated temperature and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. It resists engine and transmission fluids, many acids, and petroleum oils and fuels. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Applications involving low-molecular-weight organic acids or ketones and esters call for a different compound.

It sees regular use in high-temperature process equipment, aerospace, and chemical processing.
