The SB-V70147-10 is an AS568-147 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 2.675 in (67.95 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.881 in (73.18 mm). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint. The catalog record notes: 0.103CSX2.675"IDX2.881"OD.

It resists aggressive chemicals, petroleum oils and fuels, and many acids. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) offers very low compression set at elevated temperature and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving ketones and esters or low-molecular-weight organic acids call for a different compound.
