SB-V70348-2 is an AS568-348 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 4.35 in (110.49 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.77 in (121.16 mm). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load. This item is further identified as 0.210CSX4.350"IDX4.770"OD.

The material holds up against engine and transmission fluids, petroleum oils and fuels, and chlorinated solvents. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is specified for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and very low compression set at elevated temperature. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where ketones and esters or amines are present.

It sees regular use in oil and gas, high-temperature process equipment, and chemical processing.
