Ordered as SB-V70351-2, this is an AS568-351 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 4.725 in (120.02 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.145 in (130.68 mm). As a material, Viton® (FKM) is valued for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and outstanding high-temperature capability. The material holds up against many acids, aromatic hydrocarbons, and engine and transmission fluids. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving hot water and steam or ketones and esters call for a different compound.
