APG stocks the SB-V70427-2, an AS568-427 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 4.725 in (120.02 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.275 in (133.99 mm). An o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load. Source specification: 0.275CSX4.725"IDX5.275"OD.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) offers the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and outstanding high-temperature capability. It resists petroleum oils and fuels, chlorinated solvents, and engine and transmission fluids. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where hot water and steam or ketones and esters are present.
