This o-ring is supplied in AS568-428 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A measuring an inside diameter of 4.85 in (123.19 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.4 in (137.16 mm), catalogued under part number SB-V70428-2. As a material, Viton® (FKM) offers excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, very low compression set at elevated temperature. The material holds up against aggressive chemicals, many acids, and chlorinated solvents. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Verify compatibility before use with amines or ketones and esters.
