V1X42 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 42 mm (1.654 in), a cross section of 1 mm (0.039 in), and an outside diameter of 44 mm (1.73 in). In service, this o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. This material stands up to engine and transmission fluids, aromatic hydrocarbons, and petroleum oils and fuels. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Verify compatibility before use with low-molecular-weight organic acids or amines.
