The VQ4028 is an AS568-028 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 1.364 in (34.65 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.504 in (38.2 mm). This quad-ring seats in a standard o-ring gland while offering improved dynamic performance.

The compound resists many acids, petroleum oils and fuels, and chlorinated solvents. Viton® (FKM) delivers excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).

It sees regular use in chemical processing, oil and gas, and aerospace.
