**4047-514AD MINNESOTA RUBBER QUADRING

Ordered as VQ4047, this is an AS568-047 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 4.489 in (114.02 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.629 in (117.58 mm). The quad-ring resists spiral failure in reciprocating service thanks to its multi-lobe geometry.

Viton® (FKM) is known for very low compression set at elevated temperature and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. The compound resists chlorinated solvents, many acids, and aggressive chemicals. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where ketones and esters or amines are present.

Typical settings include aerospace, semiconductor equipment, and chemical processing.
