This quad-ring is supplied in AS568-211 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile supplied with an inside diameter of 0.796 in (20.22 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.074 in (27.28 mm), catalogued under part number VQ4211. It delivers lower friction and better sealing stability than a comparable round-section o-ring.

Viton® (FKM) offers the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. Expect good resistance to aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated solvents, and many acids. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service.
