*4224-514AD MINNESOTA RUBBER QUAD RING

VQ4224 is an AS568-224 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 1.734 in (44.04 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.012 in (51.1 mm). In service, this quad-ring uses a four-lobed profile to create two sealing surfaces per side, reducing the squeeze needed to seal.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, very low compression set at elevated temperature. This material stands up to aggressive chemicals, petroleum oils and fuels, and engine and transmission fluids. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Verify compatibility before use with hot water and steam or amines.

Typical settings include aerospace, oil and gas, and chemical processing.
