The VQ4236 is an AS568-236 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 3.234 in (82.14 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.512 in (89.2 mm). This quad-ring uses a four-lobed profile to create two sealing surfaces per side, reducing the squeeze needed to seal.

Expect good resistance to aggressive chemicals, aromatic hydrocarbons, and petroleum oils and fuels. Viton® (FKM) offers excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where hot water and steam or ketones and esters are present.

Maintenance and OEM teams specify it across automotive fuel systems, aerospace, and high-temperature process equipment.
