4245-514AD MINNESOTA RUBBER QUAD RING

Ordered as VQ4245, this is an AS568-245 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 4.359 in (110.72 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.637 in (117.78 mm). The quad-ring resists spiral failure in reciprocating service thanks to its multi-lobe geometry.

Expect good resistance to engine and transmission fluids, many acids, and chlorinated solvents. Viton® (FKM) is known for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, very low compression set at elevated temperature. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Verify compatibility before use with ketones and esters or hot water and steam.

It sees regular use in chemical processing, high-temperature process equipment, and aerospace.
