APG stocks the VQ4314, an AS568-314 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.725 in (18.42 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.145 in (29.08 mm). A quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for very low compression set at elevated temperature and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. The material holds up against engine and transmission fluids, chlorinated solvents, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Applications involving amines or ketones and esters call for a different compound.
