ROD WIPER (AN STYLE) 1 3/8 SLOTTED HEEL

This wiper seal is supplied in Polyurethane (AU/EU) with a 1-3/8 inch inside diameter, catalogued under part number WAN15SH. It removes contaminants on the return stroke to protect downstream sealing elements.

Polyurethane (AU/EU) is specified here for toughness that outperforms conventional rubber compounds and long wear life in dynamic reciprocating service. Expect good resistance to impact and shock loading, abrasion and wear, and petroleum oils. It should not be specified for service in acids and bases or hot water and steam.
