ROD WIPER (D STYLE) 1/4

This wiper seal is supplied in Polyurethane (AU/EU) supplied with a 1/4 inch inside diameter, catalogued under part number WD0250. It keeps abrasive contamination out of the cylinder, dramatically extending seal and rod life.

Polyurethane (AU/EU) is specified here for outstanding extrusion resistance at elevated pressure and exceptional abrasion resistance. The compound resists extrusion under high pressure, ozone, and abrasion and wear. Applications involving acids and bases or ketones call for a different compound.

Typical settings include mining and heavy equipment, press and forming equipment, and high-pressure fluid power.
