APG stocks the WH6500, a Polyurethane (AU/EU) Wiper Type WH Wiper Seal built to a 6-1/2 inch inside diameter. A wiper seal keeps abrasive contamination out of the cylinder, dramatically extending seal and rod life.

It resists impact and shock loading, ozone, and extrusion under high pressure. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Polyurethane (AU/EU) offers long wear life in dynamic reciprocating service and outstanding extrusion resistance at elevated pressure. It is not the right choice where hot water and steam or ketones are present.
