A80036 is an AS568-036 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 2.364 in (60.05 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.504 in (63.6 mm). In service, this o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

The material holds up against hot water, sour gas and hydrogen sulfide, and brake fluids and phosphate esters. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Aflas (TFE/P) is specified for high-temperature steam capability that most fluoroelastomers cannot match and excellent electrical insulating properties. Published continuous service range is -25°F (-31.7°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). Exposure to low-temperature dynamic service or some chlorinated solvents will shorten service life.
