The N70380 is an AS568-380 black Neoprene (Chloroprene) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 11.475 in (291.47 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 11.895 in (302.13 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Expect good resistance to moderate petroleum oil exposure, mild acids, and ozone and weathering. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Neoprene (Chloroprene) offers good resilience across a moderate temperature band and dependable general-purpose sealing in exposed installations. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in strong oxidizing acids or aromatic hydrocarbons.
