-003 BLACK EPDM 70D O-RING

Ordered as E70003, this is an AS568-003 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.056 in (1.42 mm), a cross section of 0.06 in (1.52 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.176 in (4.47 mm). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

EPDM (EPR) is specified here for outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance, good electrical insulating characteristics. This material stands up to brake fluid, phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, and ozone, UV and weathering. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It is not the right choice where petroleum oils and fuels or mineral oil-based lubricants are present.
