-010 BLACK EPDM 70D O-RING

Ordered as E70010, this is an AS568-010 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.239 in (6.07 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.379 in (9.63 mm). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

This material stands up to dilute acids and alkalis, water and steam, and ketones. That behavior comes from the compound itself: EPDM (EPR) is valued for very good flexibility at low temperature and good electrical insulating characteristics. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 300°F (148.9°C). It should not be specified for service in mineral oil-based lubricants or aromatic hydrocarbons.
