Part number E70014 is an AS568-014 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.489 in (12.42 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.629 in (15.98 mm). An o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

EPDM (EPR) is specified here for good electrical insulating characteristics, excellent hot water and steam resistance. Expect good resistance to phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, dilute acids and alkalis, and ketones. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C) in continuous service. Exposure to aromatic hydrocarbons or mineral oil-based lubricants will shorten service life.
