-018 BLACK EPDM 80D O-RING

APG stocks the E80PC018, an AS568-018 black EPDM (EPR) 80 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.739 in (18.77 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.879 in (22.33 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

The compound resists water and steam, ozone, UV and weathering, and ketones. EPDM (EPR) is widely chosen for strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations, very good flexibility at low temperature. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C) in continuous service. Applications involving aromatic hydrocarbons or mineral oil-based lubricants call for a different compound.

Common environments for this compound include solar and roofing assemblies, brake and phosphate ester systems, and potable water applications.
