EPDM (EPR) is known for excellent hot water and steam resistance, very good flexibility at low temperature. It resists ketones, dilute acids and alkalis, and ozone, UV and weathering. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 300°F (148.9°C). It should not be specified for service in petroleum oils and fuels or mineral oil-based lubricants.
