-007 BROWN FKM 75D O-RING

Ordered as VB75007, this is an AS568-007 brown Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.145 in (3.68 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.285 in (7.24 mm). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. Expect good resistance to chlorinated solvents, aromatic hydrocarbons, and petroleum oils and fuels. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in low-molecular-weight organic acids or hot water and steam.

It sees regular use in chemical processing, automotive fuel systems, and high-temperature process equipment.
