This o-ring is supplied in AS568-015 brown Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 0.551 in (14 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.691 in (17.55 mm), catalogued under part number VB75015. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

The compound resists aggressive chemicals, many acids, and chlorinated solvents. Viton® (FKM) is known for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where ketones and esters or hot water and steam are present.
