This o-ring is supplied in AS568-036 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A measuring an inside diameter of 2.364 in (60.05 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.504 in (63.6 mm), catalogued under part number V75036. It compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Viton® (FKM) is known for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. It resists aggressive chemicals, aromatic hydrocarbons, and engine and transmission fluids. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service.

It sees regular use in semiconductor equipment, chemical processing, and automotive fuel systems.
