-031 BROWN FKM 90D O-RING

Ordered as VB90031, this is an AS568-031 brown Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.739 in (44.17 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.879 in (47.73 mm). The o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

The material holds up against chlorinated solvents, engine and transmission fluids, and petroleum oils and fuels. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) delivers outstanding high-temperature capability and very low compression set at elevated temperature. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to hot water and steam or amines will shorten service life.

It sees regular use in high-temperature process equipment, automotive fuel systems, and oil and gas.
