-901 BLACK FKM 90D O-RING

V90901 is an AS568-901 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.185 in (4.7 mm), a cross section of 0.056 in (1.42 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.297 in (7.54 mm). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is specified for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. The compound resists many acids, engine and transmission fluids, and aggressive chemicals. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving ketones and esters or low-molecular-weight organic acids call for a different compound.

Common environments for this compound include oil and gas, automotive fuel systems, and high-temperature process equipment.
