-216 BLACK BUNA 70D O-RING

Ordered as H70MD216, this is an AS568-216 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 1.109 in (28.17 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.387 in (35.23 mm). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for strong abrasion and tear resistance, low compression set under sustained load. The compound resists water, petroleum-based oils, and hydraulic fluids. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It should not be specified for service in automotive brake fluid or ozone and direct sunlight.

The compound is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Typical settings include automotive, fluid power, and construction equipment.
