568-109 BUNA 70 SQUARE CUT RINGS

SH70109 is an AS568-109 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.299 in (7.59 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.505 in (12.83 mm). In service, this quad-ring uses a four-lobed profile to create two sealing surfaces per side, reducing the squeeze needed to seal.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is widely chosen for the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer, strong abrasion and tear resistance. The material holds up against petroleum-based oils, propane and butane, and hydraulic fluids. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where ozone and direct sunlight or strong acids are present.
