H70172 is an AS568-172 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 8.237 in (209.22 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.443 in (214.45 mm). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

The material holds up against water, hydraulic fluids, and propane and butane. Buna-N (Nitrile) delivers low compression set under sustained load, strong abrasion and tear resistance. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Verify compatibility before use with ketones or polar solvents.
