S70FDA022 is an AS568-022 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.989 in (25.12 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.129 in (28.68 mm). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Silicone is valued for excellent electrical insulating properties and very good compression set resistance across its range. This material stands up to extreme heat and cold, weathering, and ozone and UV exposure. Rated temperature range runs from -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C) in continuous service.
